Features & Applications

Poor air quality cannot only affect ambient air, but result in decay or damage to a structure. Equipped with infrared technology to accurately measure these components. Measure RH, temperature and CO2 with precision-enabling you to assess the conditions in the test area.

Designed for residential and commercial applications, it also has the ability to calculate and display cfm/person ventilation rate-hence identifying ventilation-related problems such as moisture build-up, combustion gas build-up, etc. Record your findings on your computer utilizing the included graphical software and cable.

Features:

  • Dual beam absorption infrared
  • Display: LCD
  • Sample method: diffusion or flow through (50 – 100 ml/min)
  • Power supply: 4 AA batteries (not included) or 6V DC from external AC/DC adapter (included)
  • Includes graphing software & computer cable

Applications:

  • Commercial
  • Residential

Procedure for using the Hobo datalogger:

  • Connect the 7001 to channel 3 or 4
  • Connect the datalogger to the computer
  • Start the Hobo Boxcar software
  • Click on the 'Launch' button to connect to the datalogger
  • When the Launch screen appears, click on the 'Enable/Disable Channels' button
  • Select the appropriate channel (3 or 4) that the 7001 is connected to
  • On the pull down menu next to the appropriate channel, select 'Voltage (Cable 2.5 Stereo)'
  • Click on the 'Apply' button
